Dial it in
Auto learns the backdrop from the edges of your photo and your subject from the
middle, so a face that touches the frame survives. Protect middle is the safety
net — raise it if the cut-out eats your subject. For anything busy, switch the
brush on and paint: Erase removes, Restore brings it back.

How the color reads
Faithful keeps the artwork's own color under soft light.
True color bypasses lighting entirely — the chair shows exactly what
the panel above shows. Studio is the filmic look, which desaturates.

Frame geometry comes from Parkit_Voyager_Assembly_RevA.STEP. The webbing grid is
measured off Parkit_Eclipse_ClassicBlue.ai (3 Mar 2025, approved for
production), which prints the straps 1:1 — strap 68 mm, gap 12 mm,
vertical cut 1180 mm, horizontal cut 650 mm. These are no longer
estimates.

Aluminum and plastic are powder coat Pantone Black C; armrests natural wood grain;
stainless left natural and polished. Verticals alternate jacquard / solid / jacquard /
solid / jacquard, and the two outer jacquard strips carry double holes at each end.
Match to a reference photo
Load your photo, set Room lighting, orbit until the chairs line up, then flip
A/B while you nudge the colors below. Matching under Studio light is chasing a
different light source, not a different color.
Chair finish
Renders the chair in its own colorway so you can hold it against a product photo
and judge the model, not the artwork.
Base colors, not lit appearance. Defaults are set so the render lands on the values
measured on the parts themselves in your photo — tube #413E3F, armrest #EBD4A8,
pad #2F3536.
Construction
Off is correct for this chair: the warp webbing is one continuous piece from the top of
the backrest, through the bend, to the front of the seat. Turn on only to model a chair
whose panels are separate — it consumes a band of the design at the junction.

the chair model, so they are shown rather than offered as controls —
layout() reads the spec directly and would have ignored a slider.

Mapping spec
The design canvas cut into the strap files the factory prints. Every sheet is
73 mm wide (68 mm of webbing plus 2.5 mm bleed per side). The outer
110 mm of every strip wraps the aluminum bar and disappears, so it is marked
and carries continuation only — which is what leaves 430 mm across and
950 mm along as the design canvas. Regions hidden under a crisscross are
printed anyway: that redundancy is what absorbs weaving registration error.

strip labeled in place + a blank template of the bare grid + your
original image + a spec README, in one ZIP.

Pick a stack of photos, or a whole folder. Each one is laid on the chair exactly as it is
set up right now — model, frame color, add-ons, scene and resolution —
filled edge to edge, photographed, and cut into its own print package.

Proven / not yet
Proven: one image mapped continuously across separate straps and through the bend,
with real over-under occlusion; the customer image is sampled at full resolution directly,
so close-up detail is limited only by their file; fabric structure is analytic, so it stays
sharp at any zoom.
